The work ‘Oblivion’ could be considered as the next step coming from Detlef Orlopp’s work. First nature, now man-made landscape. Other skin furrows. The altered tonalities do not annoy me as they usually do. Thanks to them the spectator rather contemplates the photographs in a different way than he would normally contemplate ‘common’ aerial photography.

Es ist wohl vielmehr ihr zu verdanken, dass man sich etwas mehr Gedanken über die Fotografien macht, als sie nur als ‘einfache’ Luftaufnahmen zu betrachten.
